Camporee Details

The cost is $7.50 for all scouts and adults, if the fee is paid by March 12. Registration packets and fees should be left at the Scoutfitters by March 12. The late registration fee is $12.50.

Camp Check-in is Friday evening from 7 to 10 pm. Units checking in Friday evening will be allowed to bring a troop trailer to the campsite. Also, 1 vehicle per troop will be allowed in the campsite Friday evening. The gate will be locked and all vehicle traffic prohibited in the camp on Saturday. Because the Cub Family Camp Out is also at Camp Grayson on Saturday, April 10, units arriving on Saturday will experience major problems with parking and will have to carry their gear to the campsite.

Camping will be jamboree style. Breakfasts and Saturday lunch are troop responsibilities. Saturday evening we will supply a Mountain Man dinner (Venison and Elk) with drinks and troops are to bring a Dutch oven vegetable dish or desert to feed the troop. Campers must bring their own dishes and eating utensils.

At checkin, patrols will be given their Scavenger Hunt packets and materials for the surprise event. Following check-in at 10:30 there will be a cracker-barrel for SPL's and Scoutmasters.

Although the Cub Family Campers will be in camp, their program will run independently of the Camporee except that troops will receive Webelos crossing over on Saturday evening.
