How to register a domain through Network Solutions, Inc.

Although the following information is specific to Network Solutions, there are a number of accredited registrars available and you should not feel compelled to register with NSI for lack of options. A list of registrars is maintained at http://www.internic.net/regist.html

Note: The registrar will bill you directly for the domain's registration.

1.  Decide on a domain name.

2.  Visit http://www.netsol.com and search to see if the domain you wish to register is available.  If the domain is not available, choose a alternate domain name and check again with http://www.netsol.com.    If the domain is available, click on Continue.

3.  Hit the Continue button in order to register the domain name only without incurring charges for additional packages.

4.  You will need to select the length of time you wish to register the domain.  This will determine the registration fee.  On the lower left, you will need to click on Configure your DNS.

5.  Enter "ns1.texoma.net" for the primary server and "ns2.texoma.net" for the secondary server.  Hit Continue, then hit Continue again on the confirmation page.

6.  If you do not have an account with Network Solutions (Verisign), you will need to sign up for one.  Fill in the required information.

Important:  When prompted for the technical contact, use Internet Texoma's  NIC handle: DR2423-ORG.

7.  After your purchase, you will receive an email confirming the transaction.  Forward this message to domreg@texoma.net
